​​Swaroop Sreenivas is a Writer-Director who seeks to enthrall and captivate his audience through his suspense layered films. A Bachelor of Visual communication with a natural flair for beautiful frames and photography combined with a keen interest in edit patterns, it didn’t take him long to make a mark as a student film maker, at the LV Prasad Film & TV Academy. He later set out to further hone his directorial skills by working with renowned directors in the Tamil industry, as an associate director. It was post relocating to Mumbai in 2010 that he realized the best way to work closely with directors was by donning the cap of a script supervisor. Thus, beginning his 12 year long stint as a script and technical supervisor, working with various top directors on films like Neerja, Kedarnath, Sherni, Mission Impossible-4 (India-shoot), Tere Bin Laden, Bhangra Pa le etc, sitting right beside the director, monitoring all the technicalities involved in converting script to Cinema.
 
Since 2019, having learnt various techniques and upped his skill over the 15+ movies that he’d worked on, he stepped back to Direction, producing multiple Digital Ads, Documentaries and corporate videos for clients ranging from Tata hospitals, Universal schools & colleges and Amul to Don Bosco schools and TED Talks, whilst also making his fictional shorties on the side. 

 

With the advent of AI film making in 2023, Swaroop began collaborating as Creative Director with AITEUR, a production house specializing in high quality AI content, to produce numerous Ad films, shorties, Previz, docudramas and Web shows, looking to push the bar at each step!
